Clients
Sometimes clients just don’t need therapy. Maybe they want suggestions on how to deal with a mentally-ill relative, or to determine whether you are making the best decision in regard to parenting. Or they’re not getting what you want out of their marriage or their spouse, and they want to know what they can or should do. Some clients come to me many times to consult and many others only come once because they have one burning question.
Doctors
I help doctors with differential diagnosis of anxiety and mood disorders so that they can prescribe the best medications and treatments, particularly when patients are adverse to seeing a psychologist or psychiatrist. I also help doctors figure out how to encourage certain patients to comply with medical regimens and how to work with patients who repeatedly return with vague or unexplainable symptoms. I do not charge to consult with doctors about their patients.
